Rising from the ashes of a self-made fire
She smiled
Her pain drowning in the flames.

As the taste of freedom greeted her
Buried underneath the rubble
The remnants of her old life lay.

Eyes glistening in the afterglow
her mind set ahead
The memories of war truly dead.

Then with the smoke behind her
And her destiny in front
The phoenix and her new life were wed.
